Happiness is in the garden: the magical power of plants!

To celebrate Sapho's 50th birthday, the organizers of the Salon du Végétal offered us the opportunity to create one of the ten little gardens in the Cœur Végétal. We were given free rein over the theme, and naturally we chose “Happiness is in the garden: the magic of plants” as our theme. Take a look at our little garden!

In the garden, the plant is our companion, the one that shines in the morning light and tells us that the day is going to be beautiful, the one that offers us serenity for a nap or a reading break, the one with whom we share the joy of hearing children laugh and play, the pleasure of an evening with friends, the one, the one... the one that welcomes animal biodiversity to fill us with even more wonder.

Plants are an infinite treasure trove of shapes, colors, blooms, foliage, bark, fruit and fragrance, evolving with the passing days and seasons. Large or small, public or private, a garden rich in this diversity is a place of life, a continuous source of emotions and moments of happiness that are constantly renewed.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Sapho is delighted to take part in the Cœur Végétal by offering you this vision of the garden. As a publisher of plant innovations, Sapho selects new varieties to further enrich this treasure chest of “good natured plants” that are stunning, generous, hardy and easy to live with.

Many thanks to our partner l’Escarpolette, whose furniture made in the Deux Sèvres region combines so well with Sapho plants to illustrate the garden, a place of beauty, well-being, relaxation and conviviality. Its joinery workshops, located in the heart of the Bressuirais bocage, bring back to life furniture and ornaments emblematic of the gardens of past centuries, and work with designers to create an exceptional contemporary offering; for a garden imbued with emotion and poetry...

Our thanks also go to the students of Angevine establishments and to the Vent d’Ouest collective, the trainers and professional landscapers who supervised them, and congratulations on the completion of the ten Cœur Végétal little gardens.
